What We Believe

The foundational truths that shape our church and our life in Christ

The Holy Bible

We believe in the writings of The Holy Bible, in the scriptures as the inspired word, and in the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as the true word of the Heavenly Father, compiled as authored by the Spirit of God by the hands of men, thus representing the authoritative voice and the infallible Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16-17 | John 5:36-39 | 1 Peter 1:10-11

Father and Son

We believe in the Heavenly Father as the only true God and in the Lord Jesus Christ whom He sent as the Begotten Son, through whom we are also born as sons, both males and females, to our God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 17:3 | Hebrews 2:9-11 | Galatians 3:26-28 | Romans 8:29

The Holy Spirit

We believe in the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, who represents the presence of both God our Heavenly Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, who is with us on Earth as our Companion, Teacher and Comforter. We believe in His leadership, miracles and revelations.

John 14:15-18,23 | Romans 8:14 | Galatians 5:18

Repentance & Faith

We believe in repentance from the works of the Old Testament, and believe in the works of faith by the Gospel of Christ. We believe in the justification of God by faith and being born again through the word of the Gospel.

Mark 1:14-15 | Luke 24:44-47 | Romans 3:19-28, 23-26 | John 3:3 | 1 Peter 1:23,25

Baptism & Gifts

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit through the word of the Gospel, in speaking in tongues, in the gifts of the Holy Spirit and in the fruits of the Spirit. We believe water baptism was John the Baptist’s, and for the Gentiles, we receive the baptism of the Spirit.

Acts 10:42-44 | Mark 16:17-18 | Galatians 5:22-23 | Acts 10:25-29,34-44 | Galatians 4:4-5

Healing & Deliverance

We believe in divine deliverance and healing through the authority of Jesus. By the stripes of Jesus, we are healed and delivered, and by our faith in the Gospel and declaration by our mouth we cast out devilish spirits and afflictions that come against us.

1 Peter 2:24 | Mark 16:15-18 | Mark 11:23 | Matthew 17:20

The Second Coming

We believe in the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the caught up of the saints, both dead and alive, to meet Him in the sky close to His return. We believe in the pre-tribulation caught up.

Acts 1:10-11 | Revelation 1:7 | Hebrews 10:12-13 | 1 Corinthians 15:24-28 | 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 | 2 Thessalonians 2:1-10

The Kingdom

We believe in the Kingdom of God and in the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of God is for those born again by the Gospel who shall be the kings and priests of the Kingdom of Heaven, which will rule over all the Earth.

John 3:3,5-6 | Matthew 13:24-30,47-49 | Luke 22:28-30 | Revelation 20:4 | 1 Corinthians 6:2-3

Ordinances & Marriage

We believe in the Lord’s Supper as an ordinance of the Church. We believe in marriage as binding for life. We believe in free-will giving for church expenses and for brethren in need. We do not believe in tithing as a means for God’s blessings.

Matthew 26:26-28 | 1 Corinthians 11:23-28 | Luke 16:18 | Matthew 5:31-32 | 2 Corinthians 9:7 | Hebrews 7:5-14

Gifts & Ministry

We believe that every believer has a gift and a ministry, and that the church must harness them for the edification of the Body of Christ. We believe that the gift of prophecy is more needful for the church than speaking in tongues.

Ephesians 4:7,11-14 | 1 Corinthians 12:1-30 | 1 Corinthians 14:1-5,26
